• Module 2: Task Management & Scheduling
- Scheduling rules and task types.
- Entering and editing tasks, durations, and milestones.
- Establishing dependencies and logical links between tasks.
• Module 3: Optimization & Constraints
- Understanding task constraints and deadlines.
- The Critical Path: Identification, analysis, and strategies for shortening it.
- Managing lead time, lag, and float (slack).
Day 2: Resources, Costs, and Tracking
• Module 1: Resource Management
- Defining resources: Work (Labor), Materials, and Cost.
- Managing availability, rate tables, and variable costs.
- Assigning resources and resolving over-allocations (balancing workloads).
• Module 2: Financial Control
- Entering fixed costs and one-off expenses.
- Analyzing project, task, and resource costs.
• Module 3: Tracking & Reporting
- The Baseline: Setting and saving the initial project plan.
- Analyzing deviations and changes against the baseline.
- Earned Value Analysis: Measuring project performance metrics.
- Generating standard and custom reports for stakeholders.
