This hands-on programme is designed for participants who already possess Tableau experience, equipping them with the expertise and assurance needed to construct clear, precise, and interactive dashboards specifically for HR reporting.

Throughout the course, participants will engage with curated HR datasets to practise connecting and merging data, developing meaningful calculations, selecting suitable visualisations, and crafting dashboards that empower users to investigate workforce insights. Significant emphasis is placed on maintaining consistent definitions for HR indicators, preventing double-counting of employees, and verifying dashboard outputs against the source data.

The workshop culminates in a guided project where each participant develops, validates, and presents an HR dashboard prototype. This project utilises a predefined set of indicators, such as headcount, attrition rates, new hires and departures, or training engagement, which are agreed upon prior to the session.

Exercises will rely on synthetic HR data or approved anonymised datasets. The specific indicators and sharing protocols will be tailored to align with the client’s reporting objectives and Tableau infrastructure.

This four-day training in South Africa supports beginners in mastering core Tableau features and advancing to sophisticated data visualisation. Learners will acquire the skills to connect data, generate calculations, assemble dashboards, and publish insights. The programme includes practical laboratories and a final project designed to elevate your analytical capabilities.
